Salad with Citrus Fruits

Salad with Citrus Fruits

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 2 oranges
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 avocado
  • peeled and sliced
  • 1 small cucumber cut into thin slices
  • 1 small onion sliced into rolls
  • orange juice
  • ¼ cup grape vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • a little salt
  • a little pepper
  • lettuce leaves

Clean the oranges and grapefruit. Cut them into a small plate of soup so that more citrus juice is gathered. In a larger dish of soup, place the chopped oranges and grapefruit together with avocado, cucumber and onion. Put it aside for the moment. For marinade, use the citrus juice and add enough orange juice until it reaches 1/3 of the cup. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix with the fruits and mix lightly. Cover the mixture and put it in the refrigerator for several hours, stirring frequently. Before serving, use a pierced spoon to separate the fruit from the mixture. Place the lettuce on 4 dishes, then pour the mixture over the salad. Note: Before slicing the cucumber, incise it using a fork. This will make it more juicy.
